Fundamental and Translational Research
Researchers in the UW-Madison Blood Research Program focus on elucidating genetic, epigenetic, biochemical and physiological mechanisms underlying stem and progenitor cell biology, genome and proteome function, cellular signaling, systems biology and disease states. Mechanistic insights provide rational avenues for the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
Disease Mechanisms & Targeting
UW-Madison Blood Research Program focus on pathological disorders including, but not limited to, leukemia, lymphoma, bone marrow failure including myelodysplastic syndrome, immunodeficiencies, anemias and vascular disorders. Mechanistic insights provide rational avenues for the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
